ICE CAP & POINT 660
This tour is a must-do when visiting Kangerlussuaq. We drive through the beautiful tundra landscape, until we reach Point 660, right on the edge of the of the Ice Cap. The area we will be driving through, has a lot of wildlife, and we might be able to spot musk-ox, reindeer and polar fox from the bus.
Upon reaching our final destination, we’ll have time to explore the surroundings before making our way back to Kangerlussuaq.

TUNDRA & WILDLIFE TOUR
Kangerlusssuaq has incredibly beautiful nature and is home to the massive musk-ox. We will drive through the stunning tundra landscape in our 4WD truck and the guide will fill us in on the various kinds of wildlife in this area. Maybe we’ll get the chance to spot musk oxen and learn more about these incredible creatures.

SIGHTSEEING IN KANGERLUSSUAQ
The history of Kangerlussuaq is that is a former American air base that was developed in 1941 during World War 2. Up to 1992 it was in periods active but the Americans left it in 1992. Since then it has been the busiest airport Airport in Greenland. On this sightseeing tour you will experience exciting stories, starting from the origins of the base, from the second World War to the Cold War, into a modern international airport.

THE RUSSEL GLACIER
Driving partially off-road we take the fascinating route to the spectacular Russell Glacier. The glacier is an impressive sight with its vertical ice walls rising as high as 60m. We’ll get close enough for some great photo and video opportunities. The surroundings are spectacular, and chances are good for spotting musk oxen and perhaps even ptarmigans and arctic hare.
