Day 1: Arrival to Kittilä
Departure from a Finair destination in Europe to Kittilä – Finish Lapland. Our local representative will meet you in the airport upon arrival and take you to Muonio . You will stay in a cabin shared with your travel companions for this first night. Dinner is included this first night.
Day 2: Visit to reindeer farm and snow mobile adventure
Enjoy your breakfast before departure to the local reindeer farm. Here you will get a chance to meet the animals, feed them and also practice to catch them with a lasso. Afterwards you can get a short ride in a reindeer sled before your next afternoon adventure. Enjoy lunch in a Lappish kota.
During the afternoon you will get an introduction to the northern lights, and same evening after dinner, you will take of on the snow mobile searching for Northern lights. The guide will share stories of the phenomenon and hot beverages will be serves.
Day 3: Dog sled and snow shoe hike
After breakfast we will take you to the dog yard. Today you will get a chance to get to know them better. After a briefing about the dogs you will be taught to drive the and handle a dog sledge before you are introduced to your own team of dogs before you take off for an approx. 15 km long ride in the winter landscape.
Lunch is served at your hotel.
Enjoy the afternoon at the hotel before your last adventure – a snow shoe hike under the northern lights. We walk through the snow covered landscape looking our for the northern light, enjoying a hot beverage along the way
The evening and dinner is at the hotel, where you can also pay the sauna one last visit before your departure tomorrow.
Day 4: Departure
Breakfast is serves before return transfer to Kittilä airport. From here you will return to your Finair destination in Europe after hopefully some magical days in Laplands winter wonder land.
NB: The daily programme can change, the final program will be announced at check in.
Optional upgrades for first or last night:
Option 1: Stay the night in an Aurora hut
Exchange the first or last night at the hotel with a night in an Aurora hut – located at Torassieppi Eco Reindeer Resort or Jeris Lakeside Resort. Please note – there is a dry toilet in the hut, normal toilet and bath is in the main building.
Extra charge is DKK 2600,- for 2 persons.
Option 2: Stay the night in Arctic Firefox Lodge
Exchange the first or last night at the hotel with a night in Arctic Firefox Lodge – located at Jeris Lakeside Resort. You will have free access to Arctic Sauna World, and your own toilet and bath.
Extra charge is DKK 3600,- for 2 persons.
