DAY TO DAY PROGRAM
Day 1: Copenhagen – Nuuk – City Walk (-/-/-)
Your adventure begins with a direct flight from Copenhagen to Greenland’s vibrant capital, Nuuk. Upon arrival, you’ll be checked into Hotel Hans Egede – breakfast is included.
The name ‘Nuuk’, meaning “cape” in English, perfectly reflects the city’s location. Situated at the mouth of the Nuup Kangerlua (Godthåbsfjorden) fjord system, one of the largest in the world, Nuuk offers a unique gateway to a 9,000 square kilometer expanse of breathtaking wilderness.
Once settled, it’s time to embark on a guided city tour of Nuuk. Immerse yourself in the rich history and culture of Greenland as you visit key landmarks. You’ll stop at the parliament, the National Museum, and several prominent statues, as well as take in the panoramic views from Myggedalen.
At the parliament, you’ll pause for a brief introduction to Greenland’s history and view notable busts and paintings. The journey continues down Tuapannguit street, leading to the waterfront promenade that stretches along the coastline of Nuuk. This scenic path will take you to Nuup Saava, also known as the Colony Harbor, where you can enjoy stunning views of Kangeq, the original settlement of Hans Egede.
Finally, your tour will take you to a picturesque viewpoint, often featured on Nuuk’s postcards. Capture the colorful houses in the foreground, with the iconic Sermitsiaq mountain rising majestically in the background. This is a perfect spot for memorable photos, combining the charm of the town with the grandeur of the natural landscape.

You’ll have the chance to watch the chefs at work as they expertly fillet the fish before turning it into a delicious dish.
